In another radical move by the Queensland Government, their archaic granny flat rule has been changed in an attempt to free up rental properties.
A homeowner with a granny flat is now able to rent their granny flat out. Very progressive and very welcome. Now we need Victoria and South Australia to follow suit. More details are here.
