Demolition Project Gets Started
The big thing for this week on the class project is the full focus on the demolition project.
Starting Date For The Builder
We’re still waiting on confirmation from the builder when he’s starting and he can’t be far away. Given that there’s COVID19, we’ve got to strictly follow restrictions which slows everything down.
Currently Happening On Site
Kerry has visited the site again – as she does regularly. We will be selling the carport at the front and she met someone who is going to take the carport and the gates away.
She is also taking more photos of neighbouring houses in the street for comparison. Currently, there’s a bit of a theme – they’re all sort of Hamptons style, a very light grey, and similar colours.
Kerry also shares that she saw a little cottage, on the same side of the street as ours, that has been done up which is now up for auction. The great thing about that is we get to see what they have done to it, like what colours and features they have.
We will engage our brainstrust in finding some other properties, it help us make decisions about the colour scheme, the advantage of having such a big group.
Next Actions For The Class Project
We can now follow up with the builder since our plumber and electrician had been sorted out. As soon as the builder says go, we will be in a position to move.
